April LEA Full Sim Series: One Fool’s Uncharted Empire by Athena Bedrosian

Hi all! I hope you’ve all been well! It’s been another busy month over on my side. I have been working on my interview and review of Athena Bedrosian‘s full sim installation for a couple weeks. You have  till the end of this month to come and visit! It is called One Fool’s Uncharted Empire. The sim is fantastically designed. I think she makes good use of the space. I like the overall design. It really felt open and unexplored and… new.

To get to this fascinating sim, go here.

There are four parts to this installation: cistern of dreams, hall of ghosts, plain of cause and effect, and Celestia.

From the landing point you can either walk to your left or to your right. If you take the left path, you will be led to the cistern of dreams by green stepping stones on the rocky terrain.

The Cistern of Dreams is like a cave, inside is water and tall columns.

Then I walked back to the landing point and took the right hand path. That path led me to the hall of ghosts. A hall of past historical figures and people.

If you walk past the hall of ghosts, you’ll climb a steep incline and once you reach a plateau, ahead of you is a large circle, the plain of cause and effect.

Past the plain are steps that lead up to a pavilion with a tree inside, this is Celestia.

Celestia is your final destination in this large, open installation. And there you have it….A Fool’s Uncharted Empire by Athena Bedrosian! Bravo!

Have fun and enjoy the art!
