The Frolic Mills Show – Zalyn Bailey & Bellisima Benelli

Quella Quann February 26, 2012 Interviews, News, SL Radio No Comments

Sunday on The Frolic Mills Show, we had two very successful ladies of the Second Life virtual world as the guests of honor — VoguE Fashion designer Zalyn Bailey and personal fitness trainer Bellisima Benelli. Mr. Mills really does know how to get us all excited!  Are you ready to hear all about this fabulous show? Here we go then.

Mr. Mills’ first guest was the beautiful owner of VoguE Fashion, Zalyn Bailey.

Let me first tell you a little about Zalyn Bailey. She’s a lovely lady who is all about fabulous fashion. She owns and runs the very successful store VoguE Fashion, which offers a beautiful selection of sophisticated, stylish designs from couture to casual, and everything in between. Bailey’s style and design sensability is, above all, elegant and sophisticated.

Mr. Mills asked Miss Bailey what she might look for for in the next model who would become the Face of VoguE Fashion. Miss Bailey said she is looking for more than just a pretty face and a fit body.

The “Face of VoguE Fashion must be unique,” Miss Bailey emphasized. She also added that she would look for a model with a lot of attitude and a totally unique style. The Face of VoguE, Zalyn said, would have to be extraordinary and exceptional.  This is what most models strive to achieve, but who is going to make it to the top? We will all find out! (Look for information on this fabulous contest coming soon!)

We can’t talk about the latest show without mentioning Frolic’s rant on the strong trend of black and white designs in SL fashion all through the fall and winter this past year. “I am tired of black and white and I’m ready to move on,” he said vehemently. Personally, I’m going to have to agree. I’m more of a colors person than black and white. I believe that colors are a reflection of your personality, your mood and your style. Good news for us colorful outfit lovers — according to Zalyn Bailey — spring is going to be full of flowers and warm colors!

After this lovely conversation we welcomed our second guest; Bellisima Benelli. This was a topic I found very interesting indeed; about using Second Life as a conduit for personal fitness training and mentoring.

And … Dear TheBestofSL.com readers … We witnessed Mr. Mills’ honest confession during this conversation of his own struggle with keeping fit while being so heavily immersed in the computer age. Mr. Mills rightly bemoaned how sitting on our computers does not make it easy to stay in shape. “I have gained 20 pounds sitting on the computer in the last four years,” he said. Many Second Life, I am sure, can relate to this problem. What if we had a personal trainer encouraging us online through SL? Maybe over Skype, through in-world voice or by some other voice/video communication software?

As Mr Mills said: “We just need someone to encourage us to do it.” Miss Benelli ensures her success with clients through a personalized excercise program, a personalized diet plan and a lot of motivation. “I will not take no for an answer.” she said. ”I may act like this mega bi*ch from hell, but I will make sure you end up with a beautiful body. You may hate me while we are doing it, but in the end you are going to love me.”

Some of us actually have the opposite problem of being underweight and needing to gain pounds. Miss Benelli was asked if she could also help with that, which she answered with an affirmative that she can also help people who need it to gain weight.

Mr. Mills wondered how she handled people with health situations, such as herniated discs. Depending on your personal condition and circumstances, Miss Benelli can work with your health conditions and provide a solution for you.  It’s not only your health problems, but she takes your likes, dislikes, favorite food groups and more into consideration before giving you a diet plan. Her goal is to ensure you are comfortable and happy with your lifestyle while losing weight, gaining weight or simply staying in shape.

Audience member Isoldel contributed to the conversation with a very good question many of us wondered: “With the economy being iffy for many SL users, how much would the program cost for someone?” Miss Bailey pointed out that it depends on many things. It would not be the same for someone who needs to lose 5 pounds and someone who needs to lose 50. It also depends on how many people would be attending a class at once. But in any case, it’s most likely going to be up to 70% cheaper compared to having a personal trainer in real life.

As we reach the end of this article, I would like to thank Mr. Frolic Mills for hosting this fabulous show and everyone who attended. If you weren’t there, make sure not to miss the next one or watch it live on MetaverseTV.com in the future.  Stay styled and stay healthy!
